Militaria and medal auctions
Medals, badges and militaria, catalogued with the service record where one can be traced. A named medal with its man identified is a different lot from a medal on its own.
There are no militaria & medals lots in Sale 387. A new sale opens every Friday. Join the list and we will tell you when the next catalogue is live, or browse past sales.
What comes up
Australian and British campaign medals, long service and gallantry awards, groups and singles, hat and collar badges, colour patches, insignia, trench art, edged weapons and military ephemera.
Research
Named medals are checked against the service records and the naming is quoted as it is impressed. Where a group has been re-mounted or a medal replaced with a copy, the catalogue says so.
Selling medals
Family groups should stay together, and we will say so when splitting a group would cost you money. Free valuations, and no charge for the research.
