Stamp auctions

Australian and world philately, from single stamps and imperforate early issues to covers, sets and whole albums. Collections are catalogued lot by lot where the material earns it, rather than sold as one box.

What comes up

Australian pre-decimal and decimal issues, states material, world singles and sets, first day and postal covers, overprints and perforated varieties, and the albums and stockbooks that collections arrive in.

How it is described

Condition is the price, so the catalogue says what it sees: centring, gum, hinging, perforations and any thinning or repair. A stamp sold on a photograph and a grade has to be the stamp that arrives.

Selling a collection

Bring the album in, or send photographs of the pages. We will tell you what is worth lotting on its own, what belongs in a group, and what the whole is likely to make. Valuations are free and there is no obligation to sell.
